The MINI Paul Smith Edition has arrived at MINI Toronto, bringing together two British icons in a collaboration filled with unexpected colours, distinctive details and plenty of personality.
Built around Paul Smith’s signature philosophy, “classic with a twist,” this special edition takes familiar MINI design and gives it a playful new perspective.
The MINI Paul Smith Edition brings MINI heritage into the present through a carefully selected colour palette and unmistakable Paul Smith details.
Statement Grey draws inspiration from the original 1959 Mini Austin Seven, reinterpreted with a subtle blue undertone. Inspired White offers a contemporary take on a classic Mini shade, while Midnight Black Metallic creates a sleek, sophisticated look.
Then comes the unexpected touch.
Inspired by Paul Smith’s hometown, Nottingham Green adds contrast across details including the mirror caps, grille surround and wheel hub caps.
On hard-top models, the roof becomes another statement piece, with an edition-specific Nottingham Green finish featuring Paul Smith’s signature stripe or an understated black design combining matte and gloss stripes.
It’s classic MINI from a distance and unmistakably Paul Smith when you look closer.
Inside, the collaboration continues with Nightshade Blue Vescin/knit upholstery, black knitted surfaces and subtle striping.
And there are surprises throughout.
A “Hello” light projection welcomes you when you open the door, while “Every day is a new beginning” appears on the door sill. Paul Smith’s hand-drawn Rabbit graphic adds another playful detail to the floor mats, while his signature stripe makes an appearance on the sport steering wheel.
Even MINI’s circular display joins the collaboration, with exclusive Paul Smith backgrounds available through Personal Mode.
